The Annual Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Research in Latino Politics

The Project for Equity, Representation, and Governance and the Department of Political Science at
Texas A&M University invite submissions for the 2010 Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Research in
the field of Latino Politics.
The award is given to the best research paper authored by an undergraduate student in the field of Latino Politics.
The award carries a prize of $500 and is meant to encourage undergraduates to continue their study of Latino
Politics at the graduate level.
Papers for the 2010 award should be a maximum of 30 pages (double spaced, 12-point font) and should be submitted
electronically (either as a PDF, MS Word or Word Percent document) to Kenneth J. Meier
(kmeier@politics.tamu.edu) by February 12, 2009. Please
include “2009 Latino Politics Award” in the subject heading. Papers are not required to contain any form of data
analysis. Self-nominations are encouraged.

The award winner, as well as honorable mentions, will be announced on or before March 15th, 2010. The winning paper
